Costly Lessons from the Iraq War

Advisory Committee on Social Witness Policy Historic Document Coming to GA. Read it at www.pcusa.org/acswp/

As we ponder the futility of the Iraq war, the church can help the nation learn lessons from this tragedy and move into the future in a new way. The ACSWP document calls for the application of “mature religious faith to international issues” and offers viable steps to transition from occupation to stabilization to rebuilding in Iraq.

GA to Plan the Future of Mission:

PPF Affirms Dallas Invitation to Mission Collaboration

The Presbyterian Peace Fellowship has voted to affirm this proposal for partnering in mission across the church and internationally. The Colombia Accompaniment Program is cited as a model for this vision.
