The following speakers have unique experience in our work and are available to share information about their work with others in churches, on campuses and in sister organizations. All of those listed here as resources would be pleased to work with you to develop an educational event or worship service that will work well
for your community.

Linda Eastwood

Linda Eastwood is the current coordinator of the Colombia Accompaniment Program. Linda originally trained as an Accompanier in February 2006, and gradually increased her involvement in the Accompaniment program, including “accompanying” IPC pastors studying alongside her at McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago. Following research on the history and background of the Accompaniment Program, Linda served as an Accompanier in Colombia from January-March of 2010, visiting all three presbyteries of the IPC. Shannan Vance-Ocampo

The Rev. Shannan R. Vance-Ocampo serves on the National Committee of PPF as Director of Colombia Programs, and she is Pastor of the Watchung Avenue Presbyterian Church in North Plainfield, NJ. Shannan is available for speaking in the areas of Accompaniment in Colombia, political advocacy, and congregational educational resourcing for all ages specifically focused on the Biblical foundations of peacemaking and/or ecology. Tim Simpson

The Rev. Timothy F. Simpson is a co-founder of the Christian Peace Witness and Editor of the journal Political Theology (Equinox Press). He is an Adjunct Professor of Religious Studies at the University of North Florida and Parish Associate at the Lake Shore Presbyterian Church in Jacksonville. Tim speaks around the country on Nonviolence in Early Christianity. (more)

Parrish Jones

Parrish Jones (parrish@parrishjones.net) has been a Presbyterian Minister for 26 years and presently serves as pastor of First Presbyterian Church of Jasper, FL. Parrish speaks on Colombia, U.S. Mexico Border Issues, Immigration Reform, and on the history of Christian Attitudes towards War and Peace. (more)

Anne Barstow and Tom Driver

Anne and Tom are both retired professors and authors, with extensive experience in non-violent activism. They have traveled broadly in Latin America, and each offers rich experience and thoughtful reflection on peacemaking in our present time. (more)
