December 14, 2017 is also the 5th anniversary of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shootings in Newtown, CT. Large and small-scale shootings have taken place every single day in our nation these 5 years. And yet, while hundreds of thousands of American men, women and children have been killed, injured and traumatized by gun violence, our legislators have done virtually nothing to make us safer, and gun violence remains "taboo" in public discourse.  This must change.

This week, on the first anniversary of the deadliest mass shooting in American history, the Presbyterian Peace Fellowship announces a campaign to enlist 100 churches to post “No Guns in God’s House” signs by December 14, 2017, the fifth anniversary of the Sandy Hook school shooting.
