Giving to PPF


PPF is an independent, non-profit, 501(c)3 organization. All gifts to PPF are tax-deductible.

 
PPF is entirely dependent on your donations to carry out its work.

There are two sides to paying the bills in any nonprofit.

At PPF, we keep our expenses as low as possible:

  1. We staff largely with volunteers and folks who construct their vocations intentionally to allow time for low-paid work with PPF.
  2. We keep our overhead as low as possible and try to build what we need on as little infrastructure as possible.

On the income side, we put 90% of our fundraising efforts into building a strong database of supporters who feel a high level of commitment to our work. We figure if folks like you give gifts both large and small, our work will remain consistent over time instead of becoming dependent on large grantors or foundations who may or may not be there for us next year. That's why we send out a couple of letters and email notes a year to ask for your help — we've found it's the best way to maintain our partnership with our primary stakeholders and supporters.
