We’ll also plan together for General Assembly 2020.

The 2018 Activist Council Gathering at the Church of All Nations

When: September 26-28
Where: Baltimore, MD — at The Center – 5400 Loch Raven Blvd.

Who: All Activist Council members and anyone who is interested in learning more and organizing for Peace with justice in the Church and World

Lodging options for folks traveling from out of town:

  • At the Center – There is space for 40 people to stay at The Center in dorm-style sleeping arrangements. There are 2 large rooms of 20 bunk beds that are typically divided into a men’s room and a women’s room. We realize that gender is more complicated than this. There is a space in the registration form for you to indicate which room you prefer to be in, and if you have questions, suggestions, advice about this or anything else please reach out to us.
  • Make your own arrangements – We have a block of hotel rooms at the Holiday Inn Express in Townson (currently Towson Place Hotel and Suites). The hotel address is 1100 Cromwell Bridge Rd Towson, MD 21286, about a 15 minute drive from The Center (we will arrange for transportation for folks staying at the hotel to and from the Center). The rate is $99 per night plus tax. You must book the room before August 29th to receive this rate. To book a room with our rate online click here or call 410-823-4410 and mention you are in the Presbyterian Peace Fellowship block. If you are interested in rooming with someone, please let us know and we will try our best to connect you with someone else looking for a roommate.

Cost (includes meals and meeting expenses):

  • Before July 15, 2019
$85 – Commuters (including those staying at the hotel)
$185 – Lodging at the Center
  • After July 16, 2019
    $100 – Commuter
$200 – Lodging at the Center

Expense Assistance: We have tried to keep costs low so that this event is as economically accessible to as many people as possible, and we do have some funding available for those who need assistance with travel and/or the costs of the event itself. To indicate your need for expense assistance, please fill out this form and someone will be in touch with you by August 1.

Registration closes September 9, 2019. Register here!

Schedule Overview:
This schedule tries to balance several things: a need for flexibility to respond to the issues and passions of the people gathered, planning for our future together as PPF, spiritual nourishment and community building, and the need for rest even as we try to get the most out of the short time we have together.
