When the Spirit blew through the grieving followers of Jesus their hearts were enflamed and the movement of the early church was born with a vision of a just, equitable, and peaceful community. That same spirit animates Presbyterian Peace Fellowship in our work of transforming the culture of domination, abolishing structural violence, and building up a world where all of God’s creation can thrive.
Join us for a time of worship and conversation Sunday, May 28, 7:00 p.m. edt, as Presbyterian Peace Fellowship marks the day of Pentecost wondering together about what the Spirit is saying to the church today. It promises to be a generative conversation including the Revs. Lauren Cogswell Ramseur and Ashley Diaz Mejias, co-pastors of Jubilee Ministries; Rick Ufford-Chase, moderator of the 216 General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.); and the Rev. David Ensign, interim executive director of Presbyterian Peace Fellowship.
With liturgical leadership from Presbyterians for Abolition and music from Matt Black.
