We invite you to join us in person for a public service of grieving. As we gather in Kansas City, MO this month, we know that here, and in fact all over this nation, we continue to experience loss due to the prevalence and prioritization of guns in our culture. We will gather in song, around the fire, and with blacksmith, Jeff Wild, as we honor our grief and take action together to end gun violence.
We don’t have to wait on legislators to take action for us. Together we can begin to dismantle unwanted guns, and chop them up one by one. Together we are forging garden tools out of weapons of death. We are healing from all the grief we carry with our losses, and we are healing from a culture where guns have become more important than children.
This is a great opportunity to get to know the Presbyterian Peace Fellowship. It’s also a great time to experience the power of the Guns to Gardens movement! If you’re in the Kansas City area, we hope you’ll come and see.
