Our Work
The Presbyterian Peace Fellowship is a group of peacemakers committed to non-violence and justice, working for over 80 years through action, prayer, and support for community-led initiatives. We engage in direct action, education, and advocacy at all levels of the PC (USA). We support each other across the U.S., responding to violence with a commitment to peace. We welcome anyone to join our Activist Council, working groups, and network both in person and online.

Our Gun Violence Prevention Working Group coordinates online Action Circles, fostering the Guns to Garden movement, promoting secure gun storage, and addressing various forms of gun violence. We provide workshops, action opportunities, and resources like our monthly Gun Violence Prevention E-news and Congregational Toolkit.

A Peace Church at the Presbyterian Peace Fellowship acknowledges that war and militarism contradict the Gospel of Christ and Dr. King’s message of love over hate. It supports conscientious objection, recognizes the harm caused by violence, and commits to standing against war and violence in the name of the Prince of Peace.

Presbyterians for Abolition is dedicated to political education on abolition, critically examining and deconstructing the complicity of theology, spiritual practices, and institutional norms in perpetuating dominance and punishment. The Palestine Solidarity Working Group has one clear purpose: to speak and act boldly, bringing attention to the US backed Israeli genocide of the Palestinian people and demanding immediate action. Our mission is to raise awareness, organize advocacy efforts, and engage in nonviolent direct actions to stop the violence, end the occupation, and support Palestinian liberation.

PPF's Accompaniment Program ensures that no one feels alone in their peace and justice work by providing support through presence, storytelling, community building, and advocacy. We follow principles of nonviolence, respect for local partners, and a commitment to learning, inviting everyone to join us in this transformative journey.

At the Presbyterian Peace Fellowship (PPF), we are a dedicated community of peacemakers committed to nonviolence and justice.
For over 80 years, we have engaged in activism, from resisting nuclear arms and protesting wars to advocating for disarmament and addressing contemporary issues like Israel/Palestine and gun violence prevention.
Influenced by significant historical events and places, we are guided by principles like servant leadership, consensus, and empathy. We use tools such as delegations, vigils, and civil disobedience to promote peace.
As the PCUSA grows more progressive, our influence increases, yet we remain cautious of power's traditional uses. We invite you to join us in our journey toward peace through our Activist Council, working groups, and network connections. Together, we can transform the world with our shared commitment to nonviolence.
