Kairos USA: Diverse Christian group releases major statement on Israel-Palestine crisis

When the "60 Minutes" audience saw the recent segment on the decline of Christianity in the Holy Land, they also saw how hard Israel works to suppress Palestinian voices.

Today, a diverse group of U.S. Christians launch their effort to amplify these voices with the introduction of Kairos USA.

Support MRTI's Recommendation to Divest

The Israel Palestine Mission Netowrk (IPMN) has begun an online petition to commissioners of this year's General Assembly, calling on the assembly to approve the Committee on Mission Responsibility Through Investment's (MRTI) recommendation to divest from Caterpillar, Inc., Motorola Solutions and Hewlett Packard.

It asks the denomination to approve concrete actions as national policy in response to a call from Palestinian Christians in December 2009.
