We’re thrilled to welcome to the team our new Manager of Communications and Digital Organizing, Dezi Primous-Gillon (they/them)!
Dezi brings a wealth of experience and expertise, including an MDiv in Social and Sexual Ethics from Union Theological Seminary, a BA in Sociology from Augustana, and a rich background in movement and organizing work. They have an emphasis in restorative and transformational justice, and have worked with the Midwest Access Coalition, and the Transformative Justice Law Project of Illinois.
In addition to a strong background in both Christian peacemaking and social justice efforts, Dezi brings experience in organizing both the internal and external communications of several organizations. They bring talent as a visual artist and storyteller, and a deep sense of joy to be joining the work of PPF.
Dezi resides in Chicago. They began work on January 10th and will be spending the next few weeks getting to know PPF. They can be reached at email@example.com.
